MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The flipped timing pattern of rain development (morning thunder, afternoon sun) has once again limited the chances for late-day storms, although a few spots have bubbled up with the late warming trend. Offshore, another batch of disturbed weather is poised to move onshore later tonight, impacting coastal zones with the risks of heavy rain and briefly stronger storms. Most activity should weaken as it moves inland. This may also be the final wave of early rain and storms before a high-pressure system moves overhead during the weekend, reducing daily rain coverage and increasing temps to likely the hottest level so far this season. Tonight, lows will be around 70°, and highs will reach the lower 90s in most locations. Mid 90s will be more commonplace early next week, while a certain level of noticeable moisture will remain.
