MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- From the Storm Team Weather Center ...
The latest high-pressure system is moving into the region, which will keep local conditions settled and somewhat cool, especially in the mornings. Tonight, a light breeze associated with the emerging high will help push temperatures into the upper 30s and lower 40s with only a few patches of passing clouds. Abundant sunshine and dry air will be around Friday as temps rebound toward 60°. The center of the high will drift right over the region, so no major disturbances are forecast to intrude through the end of the weekend. Temperature trends will remain cool until Sunday afternoon, with plenty of sun each afternoon. The next strong disturbance enters the Deep South by Tuesday, but may not have such a direct impact on local storm activity; however, chances for rain and thunder will increase late Tuesday and into Wednesday.
