MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- High pressure's slow but steady movement to the southeast will slowly but surely change our weather pattern for the warmer. The center is still relatively close to us, which will keep winds either light or calm but as it moves, the winds will begin to have a southerly influence and pick up some warmth from the Gulf of Mexico. Our Monday will feature highs back around the lower 70s. Lows for MOnday morning will be in the mid 30s. Tuesday looks similar except our lows will jump to the lower to mid 40s, so it will still be a bit chilly outside, but not as extreme as past nights/mornings. Tuesday afternoon will see the passage of a cold front. The majority of the energy with the frontal system will remain north, however, and that will keep our rain coverage low (<20%). Afterwards, a moderating trend with lows in the 40s and highs near 70 degrees. 11 more days until Christmas!
