MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- After another hot day in Tallahassee with a record high temperature of 93 degrees, the heat continues for today, albeit not as harsh. The pattern will change tomorrow as a cold front will be nearing our area. The winds will still be pulled from the Gulf of Mexico so warm temperatures are still expected (upper 80s for highs and mid 60s for lows), but rain coverage creeps back into the forecast. The coverage starts low with the chances being higher out west (30%) but as we advance into Tuesday, North Florida & South Georgia will have coverage of 80% as the front passes. Behind the front, we'll see drier and cooler conditions with lows around average (mid 50s) and highs around normal values as well (lower 80s). These drier and cooler conditions look to continue into next weekend with a slight warm up as high look to increase to the mid 80s. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
