MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Thunderstorms and summer heat continue to dominate the forecast with 90s reached each afternoon. An upper level disturbance out west can help influence rain chances by the end of this week, but even before then, isolated thunderstorms can form from the onshore winds and hot temperatures. For Monday, morning lows are forecast to be in the low to mid 70s inland with upper 70s along the Big Bend coast. Rain chances rise in the afternoons with 30% coverage through midweek. Afternoon highs are expected to be hottest for the first half of the work week with upper 90s. As a frontal disturbance drives through by the end of the week, highs are expected to drop slightly to the upper 90s with rain more likely (50%).

Meteorologist Max Tsaparis has your morning forecast starting Monday at 5 a.m. on WTXL Sunrise.
