TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- An expansive area of high pressure is beginning to dominate the region allowing for clearing skies as we head into next work week.  Winds will go calm tonight and that will allow temps to plummet rapidly back into the upper 30s by the time you're driving to work tomorrow.  By the afternoon though, winds shift from the Gulf ushering in warmer air, bumping temps back into the upper 70s.  High pressure sticks around overnight to Tuesday and temps will flirt with 40° for a low.  But again, ample sunshine by the afternoon will bump temps back into the 80s which will stick around for the rest of the work week.  In fact it looks like starting Wednesday we'll get into the mid 80s which would be the warmest conditions of the year.  By next weekend, we're back into the 70s as another storm system heads our way. - Max Tsaparis
