Storm Team Sunday evening forecast (12/07/2014)

MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A mostly clear day was the story for our Sunday but it has ended on a cloudy note around 6pm. Why cloudy? We have a layer of thin stratus rolling in from the east due to some moisture in the lower to mid levels of the atmosphere. While the main flow of winds will be from the north and keep us cooler tomorrow, this moist layer of air will stick around and keep the cloudiness apparent most of Monday. A light rain chance exists (20% coverage) but the rain will be weak and not heavy as this moisture layer won't support heavy rainfall. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s after starting off in the mid 40s for our Monday. Monday night into Tuesday morning will feel even colder as the skies clear with lows hitting the 30s once again. The chilliness is back after that unseasonable start to our December. The cold mornings last all week as the main pattern across the U.S. will keep our mornings cold and our afternoons brisk and cool.
