MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- More thunderstorms appear likely heading into the new work week with a very moist air mass in the low to mid levels pushing into our area. When you couple that with the daytime heating in the afternoons, thunderstorms will be able to spark up. Monday highs are forecast to be in the lower 90s after starting off in the mid 70s. The rain coverage is at 50%.
Moving into Tuesday and beyond, rain coverage is looking to stay on the elevated side as the moisture sticks by, with nearly 50% rain coverage each day this week. By the latter half of the week, a front is expected to stall just north of the region, increasing cloud cover even further. This could limit our daytime highs to the lower 90s each day.
