TALLAHASEE (WTXL) - The low pressure system that dumped rain and brought chilly temperatures to the Big Bend this weekend is finally clearing its way out, and in its place we’ll have a high pressure system develop. The high, currently located over Mississippi, will move slowly north and east and will allow for a clearing and drying trend overnight. A few clouds will be left by morning, and sunshine will prevail for the afternoon. High temperatures will also rebound to near 80.
Clouds will increase once again overnight Monday, and the tail end of another weak cold front will clip our south Georgia and south Alabama counties Tuesday. Rain chances will hover just around 20% in the afternoon hours. Skies will clear again on Wednesday, and temperatures will continue to rebound to the mid 80s.
The rest of the work week will feature a mixture of sun and clouds, with high temperatures in the mid 80s
