MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The new work week start off with similar conditions to what we saw over the weekend. That means daytime heating with low level moisture will help it feel like the triple digits. Isolated storm coverage is forecast (30%) and winds will mainly be out of the south-southeast, pulling more low level moisture from the Gulf. Eastern zones will likely be more dry as this wind will pull hotter and drier air from the land of the peninsula. Morning lows on Monday will vary with low to mid 70s inland and upper 70s along the coast. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the mid to upper 90s inland, with lower 90s along the Big Bend.
Tuesday features a change with more storms expected as an upper level low pressure system moves in from the Atlantic. This will help spark more cloud cover and more rainfall with coverage around 60% and highs at or below the lower 90s.
After Wednesday, drier air is expected to roll in, dropping rain coverage to 20% and raising temperatures even further, with some values forecast in the upper 90s.
