TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- An area of high pressure sitting just on the east coast has been influencing our southeasterly winds for the day. As for the clouds that moved in today, those are coming from an upper level low pressure system to our west. That low pressure will continue to move closer to us during the day tomorrow, which means we'll keep the cloudier skies on hand.

Tonight, our skies will stay mostly cloudy with a light east south east wind. The cloudier skies and slightly southerly winds mean our lows will be warmer than last night, only falling to the lower and mid 50s.

Monday morning will start off mostly cloudy, but by lunchtime, we'll have partly cloudy skies. Winds may be breezy at times with winds from the south east at 5-15 mph. The lower atmosphere is expected to stay fairly dry, meaning rain chances have been removed from the forecast. Monday night, skies will stay mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows back in the mid 50s.

There is a weak cold front expected to pass us late Tuesday night into Wednesday night. This will be the best chance to see rain, and maybe even an isolated thunderstorm. At this time, conditions are not favorable for any severe weather.
