Warmth and rain. These two words will describe the work week as we deal with a front that is stalling out today and tomorrow and a cut-off low pressure system that will bring even more rain later in the week! Here we go: Morning lows on Monday stay moderate due to the ample cloud cover and rain that will stick around. Expect rain to diminish but still remain prevalent over South Georgia; most of the Big Bend and coastline stay dry today and overnight to start your work week. Monday afternoon expect some more scattered rainfall and embedded thunderstorms to pop up throughout the area. These storms don't look like they will be severe as conditions are not too favorable for tornadoes or high wind gusts. We have another mild one on Tuesday as temperatures start off in the morning in the upper 50s and rebound to the mid 80s in the afternoon. We taper off the rain chances a little bit, but may still see a pop up shower here or there as the weak frontal system passes. It won't stay dry for too long though; expect scattered rain to occur due to a nagging low pressure system over the Mississippi River valley through Saturday before finally Sunday we see the rain threat decrease and we begin to dry out. Temperatures stay near 80 for afternoon highs and in the upper 50s for morning lows.
