MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- We have gotten a decent amount of rainfall accumulation this afternoon in Tallahassee. This increased rain pattern should continue through mid-week with coverage of at least 50% until Thursday. A frontal boundary will stall out just north of our area, and this will help to provide enough forcing for showers and thunderstorms across the region, as it pulls humid air from the Gulf of Mexico. This pulling of moist warm air will still help temperature values increase to near mid 90s across the region. Plus, the addition of the added humidity will make it feel very muggy outside and it will make the temps feel like the upper 90s. As we near the end of the week, the boundary will move out of our hair and a bit of dry will arrive. This dry air will not be enough to completely impede rainfall chances, as the sea breeze can still spark up showers and thunderstorms across the afternoon, so coverage will be near 30-40% for the weekend and temps will vary in the lower to mid 90s.
