Another freeze warning in effect tonight for the Big Bend & South Georgia. Coldest conditions are expected in the extreme Eastern Big Bend. Temperatures will fall to 27 degrees in some spots. On Monday, the warmth starts to make a comeback; we rebound into the low 60s as winds shift from the southeast. On Tuesday, due to the Gulf flow, we have an impending cold front that allows temperatures ahead of it to heat up to near 70. This also means we have a chance of some scattered showers, though nothing heavy or severe is expected from this system. This is good news, because all local rivers, streams and creeks are still experiencing flooding due to last week's deluge of rain. After the front passes, our temperatures drop once again, and we dry out. On Wednesday expect an isolated shower at best with conditions only getting into the mid 50s for highs. Expect some wind chills as well because it will be fairly breezy. Thursday and Friday, the sun comes back in full force, and our temperatures reach the 60s again. Lows stay in the mid30s until the weekend, when the entire area gets back into a mild pattern with temperatures reaching the low 70s with lows in the 40s!
