The rain just won't go away it seems like. With rain in the picture for the past few days a few daily rain total records have fallen in the region. In fact some locations have received over 13" of rain since Thursday, as of 5 pm today. Anyway, the rain looks to remain in the picture through Monday with moisture from the system to the south still flowing in and the stationary front to the north keeping things in place. Thus expect rain chances to stay at 60% Monday, then start falling down to a more typical summer like trend in the 40-50 percent region through the work week. Temperatures will rise as less cloud cover and rain will be prevalent in hampering the usual heating during the day. Therefore, expect temperatures to reach the low 90's in the afternoon hours with lows in the low 70's at night.
