TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- After several storms around the Suwannee River Valley on Sunday afternoon and evening, things will taper off heading into the overnight hours and beginning of the work week. We will still remain hot and humid though. Temps tonight falling only into the upper 60s under mostly cloudy skies.  Monday, temps heat up near 90 degrees inland, with temps moderated at the coastline only reaching the low 80s.  However, the concern along the coastline will be a high rip current risk which will continue through Monday.

Rain chances remain very limited on Monday and Tuesday, though temps will still be baking on Tuesday once again near 90 degrees.  Wednesday is when we usher in our next frontal system which could spring up some more showers and storms in the evening hours lingering into your Thursday as well.  On the back end of that cold front, conditions dry off and cool down a bit as well just in time for next weekend.
