MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The cold blast we're experiencing will continue into tonight and Monday morning as high pressure continues to rush in cold air from the north. Lows are forecast to be at or near freezing levels (the last time we've seen freezing temps in Tallahassee was in February!) A FROST ADVISORY will be in effect for south Georgia and inland areas of the Big Bend. A FREEZE WARNING is also in effect for the Suwannee River Valley. Highs for Monday forecast to be in the upper 60s to lower 70s as the winds move from the north to out of the east and give us a slight warm-up. From Tuesday-Thursday our highs rebound to near 80 degrees with lows in the upper 50s. The warm-up trend continues into Thursday but we then get another frontal system to move through late week. The rain coverage looks to be around 30-40% from Thursday-Friday and then the front will pass just in time to cool us down for next weekend again. The upper level pattern brings in another dose of some frigid air with lows likely dropping back into the lower 40s next Saturday morning.
