TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) -- Overnight lows were chilly last night, but they'll be even colder tonight! In fact, the region is under a FREEZE WARNING beginning at 3 am and expiring at 8 am Monday morning. This means overnight lows will fall near freezing and below. Sensitive plants should be protected or brought inside, along with any outdoor pets. Pipes should be wrapped as a precaution as well.

Tonight, we'll see very clear skies and calming winds. These two factors together allow for temperatures to reach their lowest. Most of the region will drop to near 32 degrees, with a handful of cities falling even colder.

Monday will start off chilly, but will be quick to warm. Skies stay sunny, just like we saw Sunday. Highs will heat to the mid and upper 60s with light winds. Monday night will be chilly, but not as cold as tonight. Monday's lows dip into the mid 30s.

Remember, the FREEZE WARNING goes into effect after midnight tonight and expires Monday morning. While it will only last for the night, pets, plants, and pipes should be protected.
