MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A complex frontal system nears our area Monday afternoon into Tuesday. Rain chances will spike up Tuesday and Wednesday before another wintry cool down to end the new work week.
A mild night is expected overnight into Sunday morning with low temperatures reaching the lower 50s. Afternoon highs Monday will likely rebound to above 70 degrees with the warmth depending on how much cloud cover is present. There will be a slight chance of a shower (20%) Monday as a cold front nears the area.
Tuesday into Wednesday feature the possibility of more storminess as two disturbances swing through the local area (60-70%). Highs will likely be above 70 degrees Tuesday, but by Wednesday, most of the area will be forecast to see overcast conditions, highs in the 60s, with storms likely. The majority of the region is under a MARGINAL risk for severe thunderstorms on Tuesday, with some possibility for that to continue Wednesday.
Thursday starts a cooler trend with lows dropping back to below 40 degrees in time for the weekend and high temperatures forecast to be around 60 degrees.
