MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- It's warmer outside. Temperature readings in the afternoon for Tallahassee reached the 70s. High pressure pulling in winds from the east will reinforce this departure from those cooler afternoons last week. This warmer trend will continue through our new work week with an increase in cloudiness as the week progresses. Another chilly night is expected tonight as temps dip to near 40 degrees across most of the region. The winds should calm down late into the night which will allow these temperature readings to fall sudden. Afterwards, high temps through Wednesday will be in the mid 70s and lows will rise to near 50 degrees, both which are above normal for this time of year. Rain coverage is minimal on Tuesday (< 20% coverage) as some moisture breaks in from the east, but dry air in the upper levels will keep conditions mainly dry.
