Another hard freeze is in store for tonight meaning temperatures will drop down to the mid twenties like it did last night. Brrrr! Take necessary precautions by checking the 3 P’s: Bring in your pets and plants and check on your elderly (people). This week begins with a High pressure system still dominating the South East brining clear skies and cooler nights. Monday’s day time conditions will reach the low 60’s while the low will be in the high 40’s. Another Low pressure system stretched across the Southern Plains will make its way to our area brining in a 60% chance of showers and also warmer day reaching up to 71 degrees on Tuesday. There is still a 20% chance of morning showers for Wednesday with a dip in temperatures hitting the 60’s. The rest of the week will have temperatures in the low 70’s and mild evenings. By next Friday, another system brings strong storms for the weekend. They will be scattered in nature on Friday but will become more widespread on Saturday and Sunday.
