TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Rain chances going back up later this afternoon, so keep those umbrellas handy as you head out for some St. Patrick's Day fun. Temps will be cooled slightly only rising to the low 80s by around lunchtime before steadily backing off throughout the day. We'll dip to the low 60s with more showers and storms expected throughout Friday. High temps will only rebound to the mid 70s, which is more seasonable for this time of year. A stalled out frontal system draped right over the region is the culprit for the active weather pattern. And it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Saturday looks just as active with on and off showers and storms possible, however nothing is expected to turn severe as this system slowly trudges by. Conditions finally quiet down by Sunday, but temps cool off as well on the back side of that cold front, only getting into the upper 60s for highs and overnight temps plunge to the upper 30s by the start of next work week. It'll be a brief chill, however, with temps rebounding to the 70s by Tuesday.
