TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - It'll be another warm one heading into St. Patrick's Day! Temps this morning are mild in the low to mid 50s but by this afternoon it'll be just as warm as we saw on Monday back into the mid to upper 80s. 87° is our record high today set back in 2012. We will come close to tying or breaking that number today. Make sure to stay safe in the heat as you celebrate the holiday with plenty of water. Wednesday, there will be an increase in cloud cover as our next rain maker advances along the Gulf coast. temps will still be warm in the low to mid 80s. Scattered showers will greet us on Thursday as temps continue to cool off. Highs will climb to the upper 70s. Isolated showers are possible Friday and Saturday as well with temps getting around 80°. A similar trend into Saturday. More rain Sunday as a main cold front sweeps through and drops temps. Highs will only be near 70° on Sunday and Monday. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s and low 60s through early next week.
