TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A cold front has slowly working it's way towards us throughout the day. This front, and the associated low pressure is expected to weaken before reaching the Big Bend. This means our temperatures won't feel cooler for Sunday, but we still have a chance of seeing some rain for the rest of the weekend.
Tonight our skies will see an increase in cloud cover as the previously mentioned frontal boundary approaches us. The best chance of seeing rain and an isolated thunderstorm will be after 2 AM. Aside from the rain chances, we'll have partly to mostly cloudy skies and lows near 60 degrees.
Sunday will be a fairly cloudy day, only seeing a few peaks of sun in the late afternoon hours. While the highest chance of seeing rain will be in the morning hours, we cannot rule out afternoon showers. Winds could be breezy at times from the south, from 5 to 15 mph. Daytime highs will warm into the lower 80s. Sunday night will be partly cloudy with rain chances really dropping off by the late evening hours. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 50s.
