Storm Team Saturday evening forecast (05/18/2013)

Posted

Looks like we're entering into our long stretch of summery weather! Temps in the afternoon are near 90 through the entire forecast period with lows ranging from the low 60s to the upper 60s. Tonight, we see mild overnight temperatures getting down to the low 60s. The rain chances quickly diminishes after the sun goes down and we may get some patchy fog as flow continues from the Gulf of Mexico. Tomorrow, there is a slight threat of a thunderstorm or two remaining in the eastern and northern parts of the viewing area. We hold onto the slight threat of rain Monday and Tuesday with rains becoming more scattered on Wednesday and Thursday as another low pressure system moves into the Deep South allowing for a slightly higher rain threat. By Friday and Saturday, we return to a minimal rain threat throughout the area.
