TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) -- An area of high pressure over the eastern Gulf will promote hot afternoons with limited thunderstorm chances to finish off the weekend. Highs tomorrow will reach the mid 90s with heat indices around 100 degrees, and a 30% coverage for rain. The effects of this high pressure won't last past Monday, as a cold front continues to move southward, increasing rain coverage for Tuesday and Wednesday to 40%. Highs for Monday will be in the mid 90s and then temperatures will decrease to the lower 90s Tuesday-Saturday.
