TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A cold front currently over draped over the central portion of the country will move closer to our region tonight and Sunday. This cold front is expected to stall out over us, which means rain chances will be staying in the forecast, and cooler temperatures will try to return beginning on Monday.
Tonight, patchy fog will be possible under partly cloudy to most cloudy skies. Overnight lows will fall to the lower and mid 60s with a light southerly breeze, about 5-10 mph.
Sunday will stay warm, just like we felt on Saturday. Skies will also remain cloudy, but we're adding in a chance of rain in the late afternoon hours. High temperatures will peak in the upper 70s, with a few cities reaching 80 degrees. winds will be coming in from the south at about 10 mph. Heading into Sunday night, passing showers will likely continue, but should stay light. Overnight lows fall to the mid 50s.
Rain chances will stay fairly low, but will stick around through the next work week, at least until Thursday when the previously mentioned stationary front is pushed away from us.
