MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Another cold night will be in store for Saturday night/ Sunday morning as high pressure from the north keeps the skies clear to allow for ample cooling. Lows across the region will be in the mid 30s in South Georgia, upper 30s in North Florida and near 40 degrees toward the Gulf Coast. But the clear skies and the eastward shift of high pressure for Sunday afternoon will allow highs to be above average ranging in the lower to mid 70s all across the region. Monday will be warmer with lows near 50 degrees and highs in the mid to upper 70s with partly cloudy conditions. East winds turning southeast will support the warming trend and highs will rise up to near 80 degrees for Tuesday through Friday with lows near 60 degrees through that period as well. Also, the rain chance will jump up as a few low pressure systems in the western Gulf will track to the northeast and keep the south flow persistent.
