MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Sunny start to the weekend. This is courtesy of high pressure situated very close to our region. The closer the center of high pressure is to us, the higher its effects are for us: that being dry air, clear skies, and calm winds. Due to it not being directly over us, we still will have a slight north to northwest wind which enhances the cool pattern for a couple of days. Lows for Sunday will be in the lower 30s with highs in the mid to upper 60s. Mid 60s for coastal communities and upper 60s inland further away from the influence of the ocean breeze. Monday will feature calmer winds as high pressure centers closer to us with lows in the mid 30s and highs in the lower 70s. Rain chances increase for Tuesday as a disturbance pushes through (< 20% coverage). The coverage remains low as the majority of the energy of that disturbance should remain well to the north of us. Temps moderate after Wednesday with lows in the 40s and highs in the lower 70s.
