MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- April ends on a hot note as afternoon highs reached 90 degrees again! Now the heat isn't going anywhere to start May, but as the week progresses, it will lessen to a more seasonal level.
Tonight, expect lows to fall to the upper 60s across most of the region with the warmest spots along the Gulf coast (above 70 degrees). Fog is expected to develop across the region as humidity continues to stay high. That same humidity will keep it uncomfortable as Sunday afternoon highs are expected to soar to the upper 80s. Rain coverage stays isolated with 20% west, and 30% east. Thunderstorms are possible to develop with abundant heating and moisture.
The work week will see more cloud cover and rainfall, promoting cooling toward the end of the week.
