Storm Team Saturday Evening Forecast (10/19/2013)

Posted

A few showers this evening will taper off overnight as a stationary front slides out of the area. A weak high pressure system to our north will briefly allow some dry air to filter in on Sunday. Another cold front will approach late Monday evening and into Tuesday, bring more widespread showers and thunderstorms and heavier rain. After the cold front passes on Wednesday, a drying trend begins that will extend all the way through the end of next week. A large trough will also dip down into our area on Wednesday, allowing much cooler air to come in, with overnight lows falling into the low 50's. Highs this weekend will stay in the low 80's, dipping to the mid-70's by the middle of next week.
