MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The brief weekend cool down will continue for the weekend but into the new work week, weather looks to warm up nicely. This bodes well for Super Tuesday in Georgia! Into Wednesday, rain chances will return as a new cold front moves in from the northwest.
Lows into Sunday morning will flirt with the freezing mark across interior sections of the Big Bend and South Georgia with mid 30s east and along the Big Bend coast. Monday afternoon will feature a significant warm-up as winds turn from the north and highs reach at or just above 70 degrees. Plus, the clear skies will allow for the surface to warm quickly.
Monday and Tuesday feature more warmth with highs climbing higher into the 70s and lows climbing to the 40s. Wednesday features a cold front approach, increasing coverage for showers and storms to around 50%.
