MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- More above average heat is expected as we close out this hot July. Morning lows for Sunday are forecast to range in the low to mid 70s, with upper 70s along the Big Bend coastline. Rain coverage is expected to jump up to more seasonal levels (around 40%), however, as more moisture pulls into the area Sunday afternoon. Even with more rain, afternoon temperatures are still expected to jump to the mid 90s inland, with lower 90s along the coast.
From Monday through midweek, the pattern remains similar with highs in the mid 90s likely for inland areas and lower 90s near the Gulf of Mexico. After midweek, more widespread rain is appearing more likely, which can limit daytime temperatures from climbing too high.
