MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- The weekend will steadily warm up in the afternoons to come as high pressure stays lodged over the southeastern U.S. and the Gulf of Mexico. Morning lows will also climb back up above average levels, though Mother's Day will likely be a tad bit chilly in the morning. Expect morning lows on Sunday to be in the mid to upper 50s with afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80s. It will stay CLEAR throughout the day. As the high pressure area over us pushes east, it will guide winds from the west and soon, southwest. This shift in wind direction will promote 90s to return for highs as soon as Monday, with morning lows above 60 degrees. Tuesday onward will show more moisture being pulled in, helping the sea breeze kick up isolated showers and storms (20-30% coverage).
