MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Not the best weather for weekend plans as rain continues to fall all along the local area. More rain is expected to arrive tonight, but the threat will diminish temporarily overnight until another burst of energy rolls through and provides more storm and shower coverage.
Overnight lows tonight will be around the mid to upper 60s with abundant clouds and scattered showers. Afternoon highs tomorrow will likely be limited as clouds keep the region from seeing much sunlight. But still the rain coverage is likely, at around 80%. Some strong thunderstorms will be possible as well, with a marginal risk of severe weather. Marginal risks translate to isolated severe storms possible.
Progressing into Monday, a cold front will sweep through and after some early morning rain, skies will clear off, but cooler air wont be the main story as afternoon highs likely jump to near 80 degrees.
