Pretty wet today, but the big question is will it rain during your Mom's special day tomorrow? Well, we hold onto some moisture overnight with rain slowly tapering up by the morning. Lows will only bottom out in the mid 60s. On and off sunshine will appear throughout Mother's Day, which will allow temperatures to get into low 80s once again and could spark a shower or two, but no where as much rain as we saw today. Just keep the umbrellas handy as you might need them, but they shouldn't ruin any outdoor activities you might be surprising your mother with. The cold front really settles in on Monday as we wake up with conditions near 50 degrees in the morning. Mostly sunny skies will allow the temperature to get near 80 degrees in the afternoon though, and the rain threat goes away completely. Tuesday morning is the coldest in the forecast period with lows getting down to the mid 40s for your early commute. Ample sunshine will heat us up to the mid 80s by the afternoon. The warming trend continues throughout the next several days as high pressure really takes control and allows for the sun to shine in full force through the week. This makes the UV index on the high side, so keep sun block handy if you need it. Mid 80s persist through Wednesday and the upper 80s are back for Thursday through Saturday. The beginning of the weekend could hold a spotty shower or two but nothing widespread is expected.
