MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- From Sunday onward, get ready for another round of active weather with scattered to numerous thunderstorms expected through the extended outlook.
Saturday night: Mild and muggy conditions will continue after sunset on Saturday, with lows overnight dropping into the lower 70s. Skies will be mostly cloudy.
Sunday: After a morning of mild and humid conditions with lower 70s, partly cloudy skies will turn more cloudy as more daytime heating and moisture build.
A nearby frontal boundary will help enhance the instability in the atmosphere. This will help form thunderstorms (along with the sea breeze). Though highs may reach the lower 90s, thunderstorms will likely form in the early afternoon (60% coverage). Before the storms fire, it will be hot and humid.
Your Beach and Boating forecast information for Sunday is below, as well as a look at your Tide Times for Sunday:
Monday: Morning lows are forecast to reach the lower 70s, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. Skies will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy. An increase of instability is forecast to help fire up more thunderstorms in the afternoon, with rain coverage at around 70%. Heavy rain will be a higher threat with such a high amount of instability and moisture.
Tuesday through Friday: Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will be possible each day as the weather pattern stays somewhat similar. Warm and humid winds from the southeast will help keep the air moist and unstable and afternoon storms can form each day (rain coverage at 50%). They will be scattered each day, though. There is no exact point they are expected to fire up, but expect them, nonetheless. Morning lows are expected to be in the lower 70s, with highs in the mid to upper 80s.
Saturday: Lower 70s for morning lows and temps near 90° for afternoon highs. Scattered storms look to be possible on the weekend, as well.
