MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- A low pressure disturbance is continuing to intensify in the Atlantic waters off the east coast of Florida and will continue to push north. While the low is nearby, there may be a brief chance for some rain overnight into Sunday morning, but then clearing will take place as north winds behind the low usher in drier air.

Overnight temperatures will likely not fall to sub-freezing levels Saturday night into Sunday morning, though some areas may reach the 32 degree mark shortly in the morning. A nearby low pressure system may promote isolated showers, though the activity will be minimal (<20%). Sunday afternoon highs will range in the mid 50s to near 60 degrees. Northwest winds will pick up ahead of a cold front Sunday with gusts up to 20 mph. Monday, the winds begin to pick up from the west gusting even stronger. Lows Monday will range in the mid to upper 30s with highs around 60 degrees.

The next cold front passes the region Monday night into Tuesday and the reinforcing blast of cold air may allow more upper 20s to filter in the area Tuesday night. The end of the week slowly warms with high temperatures likely back in the mid 60s before the weekend.
