MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The extensive cloud deck over our region in the early morning hours has broken apart as we see the intrusion of drier winds working their way down to the surface. These winds have been breezy at times but they will calm down overnight. This calming can really allow the atmosphere to settle and cool off and some sports may see the freezing mark reached for lows overnight. The clear trend will continue into Sunday afternoon with only a few clouds. The abundant sunshine will allow highs to reach slightly above average values, with a notable steady increase in the winds again, this time from the southwest anywhere from 10 to 20 mph. This increase of winds from the south is due to another cold front that will advance through Monday. Though the bulk of the moisture will be to our north, a slight shower chance can't be ruled out (<20% coverage) for the beginning of the new work week. Lows will be in the lower 40s for Monday with highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s. No notable rain chance after that with near seasonable values throughout the week.
