TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Saturday was an unseasonably cool day with highs warming into the lower 50s. These cooler temperatures we've been feeling are due to a very broad and very deep upper level trough system. This through is expected to push eastward and weaken by Tuesday, allowing us to warm near 70 degrees....but until then, chilly weather will prevail.
Tonight, expect lows to fall to the mid and upper 30s with a light westerly breeze. Skies will be mostly to partly cloudy through the night, with a very, very small chance of seeing a light shower south of I-10.
Sunday is expected to start partly cloudy, but by the mid afternoon hours, we'll be seeing mostly sunny skies. Daytime highs will still be a bit chilly, warming close to 60 degrees for most. Winds may be a bit breezy from the west at 5-15 mph. Sunday night will be cold with lows in the mid 30s under clear skies.
