TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- An approaching cold front brings rain and thunderstorm chances to the area over the next few days. Our temperatures are only expected to cool by a few degrees before returning to the 90s by mid-week.
Tonight, partly cloudy to mostly cloudy skies are expected with a very small chance of a passing shower. Otherwise, temperatures will stay fairly mild, cooling to the lower 70s with a southwest wind near 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday will be a little cloudier in the morning as the previously mentioned cold front continues closing in on us. By the afternoon, skies will be mostly cloudy with a 50 percent chance of rain for much of the area. It is possible that we hear a rumble of thunder or two, but at this time, we are not expecting any storm to become severe. Daytime highs are expected to reach the upper 80s and lower 90s yet again. Sunday night will stay cloudy with rain chances decreasing after sunset. Much like tonight, Sunday night lows are back in the lower 70s.
