MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Less Summer heat and more tropical rain to talk about on your Storm Team Forecast. An approaching cold front out west will get rain chances on the likely side (60%). In addition, severe chances are marginal, but possible, with some storms occasionally bringing strong gusty winds. With the expected rain and cloud cover, temperatures will be limited to the upper 80s for afternoon highs.
Moving into Monday, the cold front approaching from the west will interact with a tropical disturbance that will be in the Gulf of Mexico. Depending on its organization, the tropical disturbance could possibly be a depression or a tropical storm. Rainfall threats will be highest Monday (70% +) as both systems move closer to what will likely be the Suwannee River Valley. Stay tuned to the Storm Team for the latest on this threat.
