MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- The heavy rain and storms that we saw earlier in the morning and afternoon have pushed east of the region as a cold front continues to move east as well. Some showers may be possible at night but the majority of the action has come and passed. Cloud cover will likely linger until the front passes Sunday.

Overnight lows tonight will likely drop into the lower 60s for South Georgia with lower to mid 60s for lows across interior portions of North Florida. Coastal zones along the Big Bend will likely see lows in the upper 60s. Rain coverage will be nearly zero for Sunday as high pressure sets in and pulls winds from the north, helping to filter in some drier, cooler air from the north. Daytime highs Sunday will range in the lower to mid 80s and it will feel much more comfortable with dew points continuing to fall.

Monday morning may be even COOLER with lows possibly in the upper 50s for interior sections of North Florida and South Georgia. Daytime highs Monday will quickly jump up to near average levels as we see a quick warm-up occur. As we advance into the new work week, seasonal temps and rain coverage will likely return...
