TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- Unseasonably warm temperatures will stay on hand through the next work week, with highs expected to reach the mid and upper 80s. There is an area of high pressure just off the coast of Virginia that has been influencing our winds these last few days. As we move into the second half of the weekend, this high pressure will continue to push toward the southeast, giving us a more southerly wind flow.
Tonight, expect skies to be partly cloudy with a light southeast wind. Overnight lows fall close to 60 degrees, much like we felt last night.
Easter Sunday remain under partly cloudy conditions with a light southeast wind. Daytime highs will warm near 85 degrees. For the afternoon, there is a small (less than 20 percent) chance of a light and quick shower, mainly for our far west counties. Sunday night will stay partly cloudy as well, with lows falling back into the lower 60s with calm winds.
