The rain will not be widespread, but some of the storms could have locally heavy downpours. The rest of the week will have more days of afternoon highs in the 90s with a 40-50% chance of rain. A cluster of storms, associated with an area of low pressure, lies in the Gulf of Mexico. The of storms will continue Northeastward towards Florida. It will bring some more rain on Wednesday into Thursday. The summer-like pattern will continue for the next seven days.
