TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Rain is in the forecast for today. Tallahassee and the surrounding counties are under a Flash Flood Watch until this afternoon. We can expect to see 4-6" of new rainfall today. This is due to a stalled out stationary front and new low that formed over the Gulf of Mexico. The center of this low moved into our area and with this the most moisture. The high for today will be in the low 80s due to cooling from the rain. Tomorrow we will begin to see the rain chances decrease to about 20%. The highs will increase back into the upper 80s with sunny skies with lows in the upper 60s to lower 70s as the week goes on. As we continue through the weekend another frontal system will bring in chances of rain and some slightly cooler temperatures.
