Storm Team Monday morning forecast (06/13/2016)

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Summery conditions persist with high pressure over the central Gulf of Mexico allowing winds to turn clockwise coming out of the west and southwest today. That's a fairly hot wind pattern for this time of year so mid to upper 90s are likely again this afternoon before scattered storms boil up. We'll hold steady with this pattern through tomorrow before storm coverage increases ahead of our next frontal system. Temps will range from the low to mid 90s tomorrow through the end of the work week with overnight lows in the low to mid 70s. Scattered to widespread storms are expected, mainly for the afternoon and evening through Saturday. Then as the front pushes southeast of the region, skies will clear out and temps will drop. This weekend, temps will be more bearable in the mid to upper 80s, just in time for Father's Day.
