TALLAHASSEE,Fla. (WTXL) --
Cloudy skies will dominate the region today with warm above average temperatures. We will see a high of 82 this afternoon, with showers possibly picking up later this evening. A cold front will cross the region on Tuesday, with showers and thunderstorms ahead of it. Concerns with this squall line are: strong damaging winds, hail to the North of our area, and heavy rain. Flash flooding is possible since most of our rivers and lakes are already very saturated. An unseasonably cold air mass will move over the region after the front passes through. Morning lows on Wednesday could be in the 30’s across south Georgia, and possibly even around the Big Bend Region. Winds will also be a factor after the front passes the area. We will gradually warm back into the 80’s by Friday with partly to mostly cloudy skies and the chance for a few pop up afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
Have a great Monday!
