With many people doing some holiday traveling this week you may want to pay attention to the weather! Outlook looks rainy and stormy for the south and windy with snow showers to the Northeast. For today, we should have some sunshine in the early hours but low level stratus clouds will move in towards the afternoon with possible showers around the coastline. Highs today will be about ten degrees below average around 60. Clouds and rain showers will pick up overnight, and a warm front a head of this low pressure system will help to keep us mild around 70 for Tuesday’s high. Thunderstorms could shortly follow as the low pushes towards the Carolinas on Tuesday. We can expect to see some heavy rain, especially near the coastal areas, gusty winds, and some storms move through the region. We should clear out Wednesday afternoon, as a cold front moves through reinforcing some cooler air into the region. Our high on Wednesday will only reach 58 degrees. Thanksgiving looks mostly sunny and cool with a high of 60. Friday will be a bit of the same, just a tad milder. Saturday and Sunday will be mostly sunny with less than a 20% chance of rain in the forecast for the eastern counties. Highs will be in the upper 60’s.
Have a great Monday!
