Storm Team Monday morning forecast (08/11/2014)

TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Much of the same today from what we saw this weekend.  Storms will begin to increase in coverage throughout the late morning and early afternoon with about a 60% swath of popcorn storms by the evening.  That should put a cap on temps, but if you don't see one of the several storms today, temps could easily get into the mid to even upper 90s.  I think most of us still stay slightly above average in the mid 90s, but still not too bad considering the amount of heat we've seen this summer.  Patchy fog is a possibility tonight with conditions staying muggy in the mid 70s for lows.  Pretty much a carbon copy day on your Tuesday with storms starting up in the late morning and becoming more widespread by the afternoon. Highs in the mid 90s.  Throughout the rest of the work week, storm chances slowly start to taper off, but temps temps will stay similar in the mid 70s in the early morning to the mid 90s by the afternoon.  By the weekend, we'll see a weak ridge of high pressure allowing for limited rain chances.
